Hot Water Infusion – Foundation Recipe

1–2 minutes

read

Infusions are made from the plant’s more delicate aerial parts. These fragile parts must be steeped, rather than simmered, because they release their medicinal properties more readily than the tougher roots and bark.

A longer steeping time yields a stronger infusion. Try different steeping times until you find the intensity that suits you.
